We offer designs for all size properties and projects specific to your zone, micro climates, and needs. Bird sanctuary gardens, pollinator gardens, and Zen gardens are only some of our specialties.

It all starts with listening. During our initial site visit we will hear all your thoughts. It is our job as designers to make aesthetic and practical sense of your dreams and bring them to reality in a horticulturally sound fashion. After our initial conversation, and approval of your design proposal, we will collect all the pertinent information to create your design plan. This includes site measurements, elevations, and light exposure readings. We will also simply “spend some time with the space” to better understand how it might best be used and to visualize the potential before deciding on a preferred concept. At this time we will likely reach out to discuss initial thoughts on specific features and material choices. Based on your feedback, we will start to realize the concept.

Usually within a couple weeks we will be scheduling a meeting to review the design plan together. We will also review an image board. This is a collage of plant and hardscape material images. It gives you a big picture aesthetic vision and a reference as we discuss specific plant and material characteristics. Correlating the design plan and image board we will walk through every facet of the design; from how people, pets, and children can move through the space, to maintenance requirements.

At this time we will also review the installation pricing. This will be directly related to the design plan and will have line items for each element. Once we respond to all your questions and address all your concerns, we can evaluate if any revisions will be required to more fully achieve your needs. There is no extra charge for one revision. At this point, we find everyone is very excited to move forward and we can start to talk about phasing and Installation.
