We offer a number of horticultural services to help your garden reach it’s full potential. We can offer onsite services or provide plant care guides for the avid gardener.

Experience is the key to proper garden maintenance. Considerations including proper time of year, pruning technique per plant per goal and fertilization needs are all important to achieve best results. We know our plants, and plant identification is critical to care. If we are maintaining one of our own designs we have a personal connection to the plants from the very beginning. We remember installing them and can therefore provide the best ongoing care.

This often starts with weeding. Since we transplanted the plant we know where to look for perennials in early spring. This helps get a jump start on weed control without worrying about accidentally removing desirable plants as they emerge from winter slumber. After a growing season or two, it may become time for some pruning, whether this is deadheading, seasonal cutting back, or sculptural pruning for specimen trees. As designers we are in then best position to know the design intention of the planting and can therefore make the best pruning choices for optimal growth.

We can also provide a mulch refresh, regular lawn mowing and edging, and or seasonal leaf clean up. If you need advise or help optimizing our wildlife habitats, pollinator gardens, fish ponds, or bat boxes we can help with that as well. And when the time comes to add to an existing garden or take one to the next level we can be available for Design Projects.
